Jason R. Reeves, owner and founder of The Reeves Law Firm, has been practicing law for over 25 years. With a focus on family law, business law, criminal law, and estate law, The Reeves Law Firm has fiercely represented clients and achieved highly successful outcomes, including notable Tennessee Supreme Court cases.
After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Science degree, Mr. Reeves earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1999. During law school, he served as clerk to the Norton Law Firm, where he gained valuable experience in various areas, including business law, criminal law, estate law, and family law. Mr. Reeves quickly became a partner in 2000 and, by 2001, he set out to establish his own law firm. His goal was to represent clients in his own way, providing personalized, results-driven legal representation rooted in integrity and preparation. Throughout his career, Mr. Reeves has represented clients across the State of Tennessee, including in Tennessee Supreme Court cases.
Mr. Reeves served as counsel for the Appellee in Fllade v. City of Shelbyville, et al., a significant case he won at the Court of Appeals and that was later decided by the Tennessee Supreme Court. In this landmark case, Mr. Reeves fiercely opposed multiple Nashville law firms, well-respected lawyers, and several billion-dollar news corporations, ultimately achieving a successful opinion from the state's highest court. This case established important precedent in Tennessee regarding the Tennessee Public Participation Act (TPPA), which is relevant across various legal fields, including business law, criminal law, estate law, and family law.
